(PO7) In the discussion, we will be taking a look at situations you may encounter in your community. Each of our communities is comprised of groups that we consider minorities. Minority groups often have unique healthcare needs. Name and describe the healthcare needs of a minority group in your community/city. Describe the characteristics of the group and opportunities you see for improving the health of the group. How can you use your enhanced communication skills to share your concerns with the “powers that be” in your community to improve their healthcare status?
