Labeling a child with specific needs, such as ADHD, disruptive, ODD, behavioral issues, crazy, or physically disabled, can negatively impact children and make it difficult to recognize their strengths and abilities from a different perspective. If a child hears that they are poor achievers, they may take that to be true and continue to perform poorly in that area.
