Global Issues
It is important that professionals in the 21st century have a frame of reference that reflects an appreciation for cultures throughout the world. This assignment allows each student to research and understand a country, its people, resources, challenges and develop a better understanding of the international system. At varying levels, people in all countries are interconnected. This interconnectivity is due to globalization; the integration of markets, politics, values and environmental concerns across borders.
Instructions
This assignment has two components: a research paper and slide presentation.
Research on your assigned country should consist of five to seven pages (in a WORD document), not including the title, abstract (executive summary) and reference pages. The entire paper should be in APA format. The websites below will assist with understanding the APA citation format.

A minimum of five sources should be used/referenced, with one of the five, a hardback book. Your paper should include an introduction, discussion and conclusion. Consult the writing guide posted on D2L to assist with the written portion of this assignment.

IGO memberships
NGO/nonstate actors impacting the state
Military strength
Advantages/Disadvantages (Strengths and Weaknesses)Human Rights issues
Health and environmental issues
