Week 1: Identify a Public Health Topic and Conduct Background Research
Identify a public health topic and seek approval of your instructor before beginning your preliminary research into that topic. The public health topic should be timely and relevant. You will then write a 750-word paper that explains the topic you have selected. Include the following in your paper:
A description of your intended topic Epidemiological data and statistics for your intended topic A specific target population (if applicable) The links between your intended health issue and social and behavioral aspects of that issuc is Dr Current interventions for your intended health issue Include a minimum of five references to support your paper. These references may also be included in your literature review for Week 2.
