Define: Approved Patient Scenario from Milestone 1:

Brief statement of the patient scenario from the Milestone 1 assignment. Include revisions, if required by Milestone 1 faculty feedback.

Prior to Milestone 1, it depicts a detailed scenario of Asthmatic patient. Typically, the illness is due to the response of individual autoimmune in a particular environment. In this case, the patient’s age is 13 where she was diagnosed four months ago. The patient explained initial symptoms such as difficulty in breathing, sleeping a less duration at night, and a whistling sound when she coughs. Three primary tests were taken that included spirometry that determines inflow and outflow speed of air in the lungs, level of nitric acid gas exhaled, and change test. After the above tests, the patient was diagnosed with Asthma where medication took place immediately to mitigate the condition. Mhealth Application is one of the best technological tools that a patient would use to monitor her condition such as symptoms (Rudin, 2017).

  1. Information about the mHealth application:

· The mHealth is a phone application that is used to check and regulate the user’s health.

· In this scenario, the application is convenient to the user since when input health data where it is possible to monitor individual health.

· The application has a wide variety of data from the use such as height, weight, and age.

· The application checks pulse rate and body temperature among others.

· In other words, the application educates consumers on preventive measures, treatment, and management of diseases.

  2. Safety guidelines for mHealth application:

· As a user, it is important to consider safety use of the application to protect the health data.

· Downloading and installing the App is the initial steps then inputting the data and saving it. As user, one ought to note the following.

· Protection of the information may be through passwords (Larson, 2018).

· The information should not be shared with third parties such as insurance companies to avoid exploitation in many forms.

· Also, inputting the right information and running the App without uninstalling it.

 

  3. How to interpret and act on the information in the mHealth application:

· Familiarizing on how to use the application and interpret.

· Prior knowledge of the mHealth app consider limits if any caution take the right measure. For instance, high heartbeat, which is indicated by pulse rate.

· At some point this could be seen as simple, but it reflects on how an individual who uses the App and general technology skills.

· Besides, it is a reflection of the patient would not have difficulties in interpret the information.
