You mention in your post the many aspects of project time management.  For your individual project how do you have this information organized?  Are you utilizing a GANTT chart or action plan, or some other type of checklist?  Follow Up

If you look in your book at Page 253. Table 13:3, shows a DNP project plan and timeline.  These types of action plans help the project manager to determine objectives, action items, resources, and time expectations.  I even add a column that identifies responsibility, so everyone knows which team member Follow Up has ownership over each task.  This type Follow Up of organizational strategy supports project management and provides a framework for the actions you have completed and have yet to complete.  I use this strategy daily in my work practice.  I have extra columns that identify completion, a column that identifies which department, and a column for comments.  My actions plans are always electronic, but can be printed out.  The point of it being electronic is that I can easily modify and add tasks as they come up.
