Thank you! 1 WORLDVIEW AND NURSING PROCESS PERSONAL STATEMENT Personal Worldview Nursing Theory That Reinforces Nursing Care Nursing Issue Solved with Nursing Theory Nursing Theory and Future Practice Conclusion 2 WORLDVIEW AND NURSING PROCESS PERSONAL STATEMENT References 3 My personal world view changes with time and situations. I think that part of my world view is to be fluid and accept change but also manifesting my own positivity and future. I believe things happen for reasons we may not always be able to explain but I also believe that sometimes opportunities and life will not work out by falling onto our laps, I believe we manifest our change and life by thinking and putting in the work while being self aware of others and life. Additionally, my world view is rooted in my faith and relationship with God. Community is important in my view of the world; I feel responsible for the well-being of those around me. As in Mark 22:39, “Love your neighbor as yourself” (NIV). The importance of showing empathy, kindness, dignity, and respect to everyone I interact with is part of my core values. Being self-aware and reflective of my own limitations as a human, I am able to be open to the beliefs of others. As an advanced registered nurse, supporting holistic health as it entails every aspect of the individual and takes into account the mental, emotional, spiritual, nutritional, and environmental factors in caring for the patient, will continue to be a priority. Taking into account a holistic view will allow me to provide safe and quality care to diverse populations. In regards to interprofessional relationships, being secure in my role as an advanced registered nurse, I can utilize effective communication and show respect for the health care team I work with in order to provide the best care (DeNisco, 2021). Having awareness of how emotional intelligence plays into my practice as a leader will help me foster strong interprofessional relationships in order to provide care for diverse populations. “Emotionally intelligent leaders have the ability to adapt, withhold judgment, and exhibit self-control in emotionally charged situations” (DeNisco, 2021, p.162). Becoming a nurse leader that is able to adapt and remain optimistic in situations that are difficult will help to cultivate a work environment that will provide the best care possible to the diverse populations.
