Publications and Nursing Journals

A Level 3 header should be indented (1/2 inch). It is bolded and the only the first letter of the first word should be capitalized.). A period (.) should end the header. Your text should immediately follow the Level 3 header.

Conclusion

This is you conclusion. The word “Conclusion” is a Level 1 header so follow the instructions for typing a Level 1 header. Type your conclusion. Insert a page break when you finish typing the conclusion to move to the next page so you can begin typing your references.Nursing

Name of Appendix

Each appendix will have its’ own page. The word “Appendix” and the identifying capital letter (A, B, C, D, etc.) is centered at the top of the page followed by the name of the appendix. All major words are capitalized. The first paragraph is flush with the left margin.

Subsequent paragraphs are indented (1/2 inch). Insert a page break to go to the next appendix. NOTE: if an appendix only has a table or a figure and no accompanying text, the title of the table or figure should be the name of the appendix.Nursing
