Graphs are used all around us. Growth and milstones charts are what instantly come to mind, as a mother of young children. Data is collected in the attempt to monitor and make decisions on the needs of a developing child. In my profession, Occupational Therapy uses a simuluar concept with the developmental, academic, social and physical goals. It is important to know if the health or academic plan set in place is working or needs to be adjusted for the child.
